The Entrepreneurship Forum is an opportunity for people interested in starting or supporting a local business to learn about resources available.
The first meeting scheduled for June 10th is a Discovery Meeting to help people identify and clarify their strengths and interests.
The next meeting on June 17th takes this knowledge to the next step and focuses on people interested in Industry and Innovation businesses. There will be a panel of speakers to share their knowledge and talk about different funding opportunities.
On June 24th the meeting will focus on individuals who are interested in starting a Retail business. A panel of resources will be present to do a Q&A session with participants.

In addition to our two major sources of innovation, Hewlett Packard and Oregon State University, we have a wealth of small spinoffs, spinups and spinouts that have resulted in very flexible companies that create some of the brightest technology applications being commercialized anywhere.
Harvard's Creativity Index is based on two main criteria, 1) Economic Performance and 2) Innovation Output.

With barely a week to go before the company's new product is scheduled to ship, the manufacturing department is smack in the middle of moving.
The old fabrication area is already cleared out, but the new one is still being set up. Employees are ferrying parts and equipment from one building to another on handcarts, and somebody dropped one of the finished units, cracking the housing.
Not that anyone seems concerned about all this chaos — that's just the price of success for ViewPlus Technologies.

These are:
• Product
• Marketing
• Financial Management
If a company is able to achieve balance and perform in these three areas, they will be more readily able to reach their goals. I will probably spend some additional time writing on this subject in the future. As simple as it seems, with the barrage of information, tools and consultants available addressing every issue that arises for businesses of any size, this foundation seems to get lost.
